Is Obama saying "we need to live within our means" like Col Sanders saying we need to stop killing chickens?

Now that he has presided over the largest grab of the economy by the federal government in the past 670 years and arguably ever in the nation's history, while at the same time adding $3,500,000,000,000 to the national debt in just two years?
