I'm from India. Here, generally a kid, upon reaching the driving age, starts witha two-wheeler and graduates to a four-wheeler some years later. However, families that are not really financially sttable, use a two-wheeler throughout their life. From what I've observed in movies and tv shows, Americans of all social classes have a car (those with some income, of course) and it's not like they graduate from a two-wheeler to a car. Their first vehicle is a car. Even kids drive cars. Is this perception accurate?
